The interdependence between the pathology of oral cavity and the general pathology has been signaled for a very long time. Although this very important matter has been debated many times, the mouth being considered “the mirror the rest of the body” (Osler), the pathology of the oral cavity as a reflection of some general diseases hasn’t been studied long enough.
