In this review we emphasis the oral environment
disorders to diabetic patients and the mechanisms
implied on dental caries development. This article will
also point out the importance of some general factors
on diabetes activity as well as the role played by these
factors on dental caries activity (smoking, alcohol
consumption, stress, traumas).
