Abstract:

The differential diagnosis of cervical ganglionic
metastasis consecutive to oral malignant tumors
should be made with:
 cervical benignant tumors:
 cystic tumors: the sebaceous cyst, the suprahyod ranula;
 carotic glomus and neurogenic tumors;
 salivary gland tumors;
 vascular tumors: hemangioma, lymphangioma, arterial-venous malformation, aneurism;
 neural tumors: neurofibroma, schwannoma;
 lipomas;
 fibromas.
