THE ROLE OF TEMPOROMANDIBLE JOINT TOMOGRAPHY IN CRANIO-MANDIBLE MALRELATION DIAGNOSIS

Abstract:

Aims:Cranio-mandible malrelation, clinical form of dysfunctional syndrom, can be diagnosed based on the clinical and complementary exams. Matherials and methode For the most precise interpretation of the changes apearred in the joint factor we analize temporomandible tomography. The present study is based on the static and dinamic analysis of a bunch of tomograhies, morphologicaly and with Rickets formula. The results reveal the importance of this complementary exam in diagnosis and in the apreciation of the joint componenets in time, for correct cranio-mandible relationships.
