Aims The purpose of this study was to evaluate the main factors that contribute to the failure of metal ceramic bridges, knowing that this is one of the most common methods of treatment used by modern dentistry. Matherial and methode We evaluate a sample of 17 patients which received treatment with metal ceramic bridges with errors from the esthetic point of view. Resultants The study proved that, besides the good communication between the doctor and his patient and the doctor and the dental technician, it is indispensable for the dentist to be aware about the main esthetic dental – facial balance parameters in order to perform a solid clinical and paraclinical evaluation, followed by therapeutic success.
