Abstract:

Objectives: This study presents results for implant therapy by lifting sinus also for conventional implant therapy at patients with de periodontal disease at history during 18 months. Mattherial and methode: Patients were selected for study upon the necessity of therapeutic implants minimally for implants, at least one at maxilla posterior region with a necessity form bone at least 3 mm in vertical plan. After the realization of window for access and the elevation of mucosal tissue, were implanted at sinus monodental
and implants inserted by conventional method. Parameters followed at study were represented by registration of index for bacterial plaque, deep of the pockets, bleeding at examination and also radiographic assessment for distance between implant coronal limit and
alveolar ridge. Results and discutions; The surgical procedure utilised at this study demonstrate a high potential
through the facility and therapeutic results. Even so, sinus lifting procedure interferes with physiology of maxilla sinus and could generate potential complications as perforations at soft tissues areas, infections false communications, failure of implant therapy before or after prosthetics due to overstress. With all these precautions, the utilisation of this therapeutic procedures for implants can de addressed for patients with periodontal disease. Conclusions: study are indicated the fact that utilisation of these simplified technique for sinus lifting could be utilised successfully and predictable for patients with periodontal disease at history
