Abstract:

For some metal passing into the ionic statement, from network to a solution can be stagnated, when they are into a contact with a strong oxidized electrolyte or to some value of polarization. The phenomenon is explained by the passive activity of metal, at least its surface is covered with a layer of oxide adherent and compact that isolates the metal from corrosive medium. In these condition corrosive speed is decreased to very low values, are lost to sight. In this report is realized a synthesis of the data from the specialty literature and a personal experimental study.
