The purpose of the present case report is to study the benefits on the periodontal structures of the orthodontic treatment of dentar crowding. The retraction of the lower frontals as part of orthodontic therapy can lead also to the reduction of localised facial gingival recession, which in other circumstances would require surgical correction. The results at the end of orthodontic treatment of the
clinical case presented include tooth alignment with functional occlusal contacts and a good fisiognomic aspect by the semnificative reduction of facially localised gingival recession.
