Abstract:

Disinfecting and sealing of the root canal system is crucial to eliminate pulpal and periapical diseases and prevent their recurrence. Therefore, adequate knowledge and understanding of root canal anatomy variations is of utmost importance in terms of endodontic treatment success. This case report presents a mandibular canine with two separate roots, a case with rare prevalence. Conventional root canal treatment was carried out and a follow-up of the case is presented. Failure to address such variations would result in failure of the endodontic treatment, hindering the overall success of restoring the function in the presented case.
