The pathologies of the temporomandibulary (ATM) and hip joints affect the articulations, the supporting structures and their biomechanics. The objective of any recovering treatment for ATM and AS pathologies is pain elimination or reduction and recovery of the normal biomechanic function of the temporomandibulary and hip joint. The initial treatment preferred by numerous specialists is an non-invasive, conservative one. The present study evaluates the value of a recovering treatment for joint biomechanics, by reviewing all non-invasive treatment methods now in use.
