Although dental implants have been used for several decades by now, the cause behind their failure is still a topic of discussion. Nanotechnology is an emerging field of science widely used in various medical advancements, especially dental implants. These nanoparticles are believed to play a major role in overcoming failure of dental implants over the conventional ones. This narrative review discusses various aspects of the recent advances recorded in nanotechnology and their implications in dentistry.
