Abstract:

Indicators for assessing primary tissue-implant contact are determined, namely: condition of the mucous membrane and periosteum adjacent to the implant; type of tissue adjacent to the implant; part of the implant in contact with the tissues; length of contact of the implant with the bone; presence of a bone defect, blood and bone replacement materials near the implant; local clinical conditions; Torc; stability of the implant; patient’s health status, etc. Indicators are divided according to their degree of manifestation and are evaluated in points, which permitted to objectively assess the characteristics of tissue-implant contact (histiocontact) and the position of the implant in the tissues after its qualitative and quantitative installation, for further control and comparison.
