Ranging from tooth drilling in the Ancient Indus Valley to modern reconstruction techniques, the evolution of dental medicine practices, as evidenced by various archaeological discoveries, also provides a fascinating glimpse into the way society has changed as a whole throughout the millennia, specifically regarding general approaches to health, patient-doctor interaction and treatment of diseases.
