Abstract:

The multitude of factors that can lead to sleep bruxism, as well as the effects that sleep bruxism produces in the oral cavity, create a varied context, which the dentist must interpret from a holistic perspective. This study reports a case of sleep bruxism diagnosed by positive self-report, clinical report, and technology report (use of portable electromyographic device), trying to identify personality traits and highlight those that scored differently from the possible medium scores recorded using the 5 Factor Personality Questionnaire.
