The study evidences the role of Apilarnil, an apiarian product obtained from drone larvae in maintaining oral health and prevention of dental affections. In spite of its still large‑scale non‑application in stomatology, its unique composition, rich in proteins, vitamins and bioactive substances, it has a significant potential in fighting gingival inflammations, tissue regeneration and inhibition of cariogenous bacteria development. It also explores the properities of Apilarnil and the actual research directions supporting its introduction among the other products of oral hygiene.
