The usage of “Betadine” to 310 patients (102 patients with surgical therapy; 208 patients with dental and periodontal therapy; age 20-55; female- 201, males- 109) in dental practice allows on the basis of clinical results to set out its efficacy, due to extensive antimicrobial spectrum. The treatment with “Betadine” lasts less than 30%, without adverse reactions, pleasant taste. Based on clinical results during 6 months, it can be recommended in dental practice in the treatment of marginal periodontal diseases, apical periodontitis and mucous lesions of the oral cavity.
