Idiopathic root resorption is an infrequent phenomenon and a progressive condition of unknown etiology, which may involve single or multiple teeth. These resorptive defects are usually asymptomatic and first diagnosed clinically as an incidental finding on routine radiographic examination. Only a few cases have been reported in the literature on multiple idiopathic cervical internal root resorption. This article discusses a case of multiple idiopathic cervical internal root resorption of permanent incisors associated with taurodontism and hyperdontia in a 12 year-old Indian male.
